Step 1. Contact us (816-419-3036) to request an assessment. An agent will contact you to determine if you are eligible for the CDS program and how many hours and what type of care you will get.
Step 2. Choose a caregiver. This can be a relative, neighbor or friend. We will come to you to help you get enrolled!
Step 3. Receive care from a person who knows you. Your caregiver will be paid through the state funded CDS program.
If you have a friend, relative or neighbor that needs care, you may be eligible to become their caregiver. You must be 18 years of age, have valid work authorization, and be able to pass a background check.
If you are a Medicaid recipient or are eligible for Medicaid, you may qualify. You must be 18 years of age, live in Missouri, be able to direct care planning services, and need help with day to day activities.
Contact us to discuss whether you might meet Medicaid eligibility. Medicare is not enough! We will help you through the process of applying and getting enrolled in Medicaid. You can find out more information about Medicaid at dss.mo.gov. If you currently do not receive Medicaid, you can apply by phone at: 1-855-373-9994.
You can still qualify if you are approved for Medicaid spenddown. There are waiver programs that we can explore that may reduce or eliminate your spenddown. Please call to find out how!
